I suffered online fraud though fraud site "Timtara.com" for purchase of Iphne 4 worth Rs.25, 290 on October 23, 2012. The transaction gateway was'Atom'.
Timtara.com promised to deliver an iPhone 4(16 GB) in 10 days time. But, after 20 days of transaction and non receipt of the product.
I asked for a refund on Nov 12, 2012. They have, till now, 38 days since the transaction(as on Dec 10, 2012) have not refunded the amount nor have delivered the product.
Despite several mails, phone calls and follow-ups neither the product has been delivered nor the money has been refunded. If you call them, they simply hang up the phone on you.
I understand from certain consumer forums on the Internet, that Timtara.com is a fraudulent organization and several consumers are suffering on this account. Hence, May I request the following:
This is request by web community to Ban Timtara.com for seeking payments from consumers and issue an advisory to customers so that no one else is duped by these frauds.
