First let me say that I normally do not watch sci-fi movies.

But The Matrix was a wonderful movie that I have watched over and over again. Im very much waiting for Matrix part 2 to come out and will watch it.

Keanu Reeves (Thomas ''Neo'' Anderson )where ''reality'' is discovered to be a virtual dream created by machines who has over-taken the world. ''Neo'' is a computer hacker recruited to uncover their campaign of deceit. Laurence Fishburne (Morpheus)considered the most dangerous man alive by the authorities and Carrie-Anne Moss (Trinity) are the rebels who also believe he's ''the one'' that will save mankind, which requires mind power as much as physical strength.

Sometimes those machines take human form as agents, robotic parodies of FBI men, like the chilling Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving), who wear security earpieces, sunglasses and white shirts with ties and are terrifyingly close to indestructible.

These Matrix men have a special interest in Neo. There's a feeling in the air, one that Morpheus and his ragtag colleagues (including ''Bound'' veteran Joe Pantoliano) are tempted to share, that Neo might be the One, the foretold liberator who has the power to destroy the Matrix and free the human race. But only the Oracle (a fine cameo by Gloria Foster) knows for sure, and everything she says is, well, oracular.

This movie has wonderful graphics, sound effects, and overall the movie is wonderfully made.
