Tata indicom is most unprofessional brand. I'm in the process of shifting to Hyderabad from Delhi and so I asked my wife to start the process of disconnecting tata indicom post paid walky connection which we had for last three painful years ( poor signal, no proper replacement of handset etc etc).
Anyway my wife spoke to the customer executive and they gave address in CP and said to return the handset and made it appear as if it will be done painlessly. Today my wife went there to discover that they will only accept 'request to terminate service' but will do a confirmation call after 15-25 days and then settle the bill and collect the handset. We are shifting by packers and movers on 22 (less than a weeks time).
Is this not their trick to keep on sending bills and then after sometime try to blacklist? All too familiar tactics of hopeless telecom people. Is there a way to get it disconnected quickly? Any suggestions?
