The first flight experienced by me was Spicejet in the year 2009. After that I could manage to fly with Spicejet inly once and flying with Spicejet is not less than a nightmare. I booked my ticket from Bangalore to Kolkata in Spicejet at 1830 hours. Firstly the flight got delayed by 2 hours, then by 4 hours and lastly the flight arrived at around 0130 hours. I just waited at the airport with my family without sleep and rest. That time I decided that I will never book spicejet. However, due to official reasons, I had to book spicejet again from Srinagar to Delhi on 2 June 24. Firstly the flight got delayed by 25 minites, them by 2 hours and lastly the flight got cancelled. No alternate flight was provided, neither any accomodation was provide. I had to cancel my connecting Rajdhani Express from Delhi without any refunds. I booked flight tickets for next day at a high fate, stayed in hotel at Srinagar for one night. I spent almost 25000 extra on these. I suggest to all travellers that don't fall prey to cheap fare of Spicejet. You will never find their flight on time and your travel experience will not be less than a nightmare. Don't book spicejet.
