I wanted to share this horrendous experience with Shoppers Stop website. I work for a large MNC and I was given some gift vouchers from this website as one of their appreciation pay outs.
The amount was for 3500. I added items worth 3616 from the website into my cart. I was asked to redeem my card for 3500 which I did and then I was asked to make the balance payment, I chose Netbanking for that. However, due to some technical problem the Payment Gateway didn't work.
To my utter shock and disgust, when I was forced to refresh the page and tried to place the order again, I realized that all my money had been redeemed without even generating an order.
I called up and wrote to Shoppers Stop for assistance but they have really pathetic service and has not responded ever since.
This is the worst e-tail website in the market now and the worst back office service.
Sincere request to corporates and anyone else, avoid the any purchase from Shoppers Stop as the website is very badly built, poor transaction handling and extremely useless customer support. If you do not want to waste your or your employees' hard earned money, avoid this website like a plague.
If I could rate anything below the minimum available of 1 point, I would for Shoppers Stop.
