Everyone, almost everyone in India and many more outsiders knows his name. Popularly known as SRK King Khan, he is definitely a personality to look up to.
Personality : From whatever I read about him or watch in interview , he seems as a very down to earth and humble superstar with a very gentle heart. He is from a non bollywood background yet he has ruled the industry for quite a long time. He oftenly gets calls from foreign universities like Yale to give inspiring lectures to the students His struggle and success , his wittiness, inspiring talks evrything is something to look upto.
Popularity : He is very popular in India as well as overseas. Many foreigners know India, as SRKs country.His overseas fan following is quite bigger than his Indian fan following. In India his stardom is somewhat overshadowed by Salman Khan who is the most popular actor in India. Many hollywood actors as well as popular novel writer Paulo Coelho has praised him and his work many times.
Performances : This is what makes him better than the rest. One of the finest actors of our Country. His terrific performances in movies like MNIK, Swades, Darr etc is miles ahead of others. He is 8 times filmfare winner which is a big achievment.
Whats bad about him is his recent choice of films, When Aamir is making Dangal, 3Idiots, PK kinda movies, Salman is making movies like Sultan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, SRK is making Happy New year, Dilwale which are according to me few of the worst movies of our generation. Fan movie was a head ache, Ra one and Jab Tak Hai Jaan tortured me for hours. I regret spending my money and time on such idiotic films .
Once I was a fan of SRK, but now I dont even like to watch his movies. I hope he starts making good films, otherwise he will lose his stardom, and eventually stop watching his films.
