Revolution 2020 is surely Chetan Bhagat's one of the best piece. The story is very interesting and carries a good interest along. One would surely indulge into the character. The love triangle presented by the writer is very interesting.
The story is of two friends Gopal and Raghav who fall for the same girl, Aarti. Aarti and Gopal are childhood friends and share a platonic relationship. Because of scoring a low rank in AIEEE, Gopal moves to Kota to prepare for the Indian Institute of Technology.The story turns for actual twist during this session, Aarti falls in love with Raghav during this period. Aarti soon reveals this to Gopal and Gopal's heart breaks. He fails to secure good rank for the second time too. His father dies shortly.
Time passes and Gopal indulges with politicians and Raghav runs for his passion, almost forgetting Aarti while dancing on his own beats. Again a turn in the story comes, when Aarti and Gopal meets after a long time, Gopal is a now successful businessman. Aarti's old love again come above and resurfaces the old feelings, suppressing the feelings for Raghav. She basically cheats on Raghav. But nonw Gopal finds Raghav a better person than himself and wishes that Raghav and Aarti get married together. He invites two prostitutes and make Aarti notice it, so that she starts hating him.
Despite sacrificing his lifelong love to bring about the "revolution", Gopal still doubts whether he is a "good man".
