I had purchased a Reliance landline connection on 06-10-2003. I did not receive the Bills for 2 1/2 months even though I kept calling the customer care centre for the bill and sending letters by fax and hand delivering them. Suddenly on December 18 they disconnected the STD services of the phone without any intimation. On enquiring I was told that the usage was high and hence the phone was disconnected. I was shocked to hear this since I had been asking for Bills for 2 months and now suddenly line was disconnected without intimation. The customer care executives hired by RELIANCE are probably the worst in the world and only thing that they know to say is ''PLEASE GO TO THE NEAREST WEB WORLD'' for solving your problems. Sometimes I wonder why the have call centres.


Then I went to the Webworld and collected a Bill copy and made the payment. Now again the services are not started automatically and one has to collect ticket no, make a call to the customer care and get the services activated. I received the shock of my life when the Bill showed calls made on 04-10-2003 and 05-10-2003 (STD Calls) i.e. 2 days before I purchased the phone. On enquiring I was told that the phone was activated on 04-10-2003 and hence I went & submitted a photocopy of the handset receipt at webworld for verification. Till date they have not resolved the problem.


In the next Bill for December they again showes STD call details for 18-22 December 2003 i.e. during the period STD was disconnected. Once again I went to the webworld and made a complaint but as usual the complaint has not been resolved.


Once again in January 2004 the services were disconnected for high usage. The funniest part of it is that it was done 2 days after I had cleared all the Bills upto date (not received by post but collected from webworld personally). The web world executives also spoke very rudely and harshly not only to me but almost all the customers.


The service provided is shocking, customer care executives are hopeless, web world executives are the most ill mannered I have seen in my life and the billing is always wrong and on the higher side.


I AM DISCONNECTING MY PHONE AND REQUEST ALL TO NOT BE FOOLED BY CHEAPER RATES.
