PayTM is one more addition to the ecommerce sites of India. My experience was PayTM was
mostly satisfactory untill I used their mobile recharging service. However my experience with them got ruined when I decided to buy an earphone from them. I had placed the order on 13th June and received it on 17th June. My order number was 1022120732.
While placing the order they were offering a 30% cashback on applying a Promo-code which I did successfully and the website was showing the same that the promo code has been applied. They were informing that my cashback will be credited to my PayTM wallet in 48 hours. However when I did not receive any cashback I contacted their customer service department on 16th and they replied me that It will be credited once the product is delivered.
I received the product on 17th and contacted them once again about my cashback. No reply for next 2 days and finally they replied that I had not applied any PromoCode so I will not receive any Promocode.
So, guys, this is basically their way of cheating and looting their customers. If you decide to buy something from PayTM and if there is any cash back offer, please do not believe it. They will not going to give any cash back.
I am not going to use them even for a mobile recharge now as there are plenty of other options in the marker.
