Dear Sir,
I am an old man aged 68 years retired as a senior Govt. officer. From my hard earned money and on the recommendations of my friends I purchased one of the best AC i.e. O General inverter AC for over Rs. 55000 plus voltage stabilizer and installation from Vijaya Sales Janak Puri on 2nd March 2017.(Order no. 303-DJK03-17SOAT 8) The AC was installed by M/s Summer Cool, B/112 Ganesh Nagar, New Delhi 110018 on 4.3.2017.On the advice of Summer Cooled I paid them Rs. 7800/- for annual maintenance beyond one year vide Receipt no.15378 dated 4.3.2017. I did all these to pass the hot summer of Delhi comfortably. But that was not to be.
The AC was not used till 29.03.2017 as the weather in Delhi was fine. I went to visit my son at Bagdogra and returned on 4.4.2017.The AC was put on to use from 5.4.2017. On 16.4.2017 when I switched on the AC, its operation light started to blink and the fan stopped working. Being Sunday nobody came from ‘summer cool’ in spite of my phoning them half a dozen times. I passed the night under fan though I was possessing by far India’s best AC available. Summer Cool people came and found there is a major problem and some costly part is to be changed. Staff was cooperative. They told me to phone customer care(18602081007).I lodged my complaints there(Complaint no. DEL11704170715).They gave me some number of Sh. Surya(8800898447). I spoke to Mr. Surya who told me to help and do the needful in two days. I hope my A C works again. Will somebody in O General take notice?
Today(19.04.2017) I phoned customercare, the service center and Delhi office. They had no clue as to when the part will be available. I continue to suffer.
