Nikon is a well known brand and looking to its brand value and its after service I purchased this camera and I was quite impressed with its performance. It is a beginners DSLR but shoots pictures like a much high end camera.
The camera comes with a rechargable battery which carries decent amount of charge.
It gets little warmed up while shooting videos. It has built-in OIS which is good for shakey hands like mine. The camera basically comes with a native 18-55mm lens kit which is a macro lense. The best thing is its ISO range which is as low as 128000 but it produces very hazzy images stills does a good job. It has 5 shooting modes but one buys DSLR for its manual adjustments. It has a SD card slot to store photos and can shoot in both JPEG and RAW format. All over, it is a very good camera to own for casual to pro photographers.
