New Yorkers in Pune is situated in the compound of Hotel Span on JM Road. I am a regular at the New Yorkers in Bombay so when I visited Pune I thought of checking out this place. We visited this place on a late Sunday afternoon. Surprisingly the A.C section is only open in the evenings. So we had to sit outside in the heat. Still I convinced everyone to eat here. We ordered the food. We were disappointed.
New Yorkers is known for its excellent Nachos, Pizzas, Enchiladas, Onion Rings, American Cheese Balls, Chole Bhatura, Burritos. We were 10 of us so we had ordered all of the above. None of us were satisfied with the food.
~The Nachos were too salty and the tortilla chips were like those of Senor Pepito.
~The Pizza was average.
~Enchiladas tasted as if they were dipped in tomato ketchup and water!
~Onion Rings were average but cold.
~American Cheese Balls had a particular stink
~Chole Bhatura had paneer which they are supposed to put only in Jain Chole or Paneer Chole if you have asked which I hadn't. The Bhatura was very oily.
~Burritos were again average.
~They didn't have the famous New Yorkers' Salsa too!
These people should send their cooks for training to New Yorkers, Chowpatty, Mumbai. The New Yorkers in Mumbai is just too good!
If you are in the mood for New Yorkers ride up to New Yorkers in Bombay and feast!!!
