Last Friday, we tried out this new restaurant in Pune - Nawab located in one of the posh localities of Pune - Bund Garden Road. As the name suggests, the restaurant's speciality was the Lucknowi Cuisine. As I'm quite new to Pune I had hard time to find the restaurant. But I'm sure proper Puneites will have no such problem as it is located opposite Pune Club.
Anyways, after making many wrong turns I was so hoping that the restaurant is worth this much trouble. As soon as we entered, we were quite impressed by the ambience of the place. Also the gentry was also quite decent over there. We were able to find a table quite soon as it was a non-weekend day. As we browsed through menu, every item mentioned was looking good. We ordered some kebabs and wine. Kebabs were too good and almost authentic lucknawi kebabs. So soft that they were just melting in mouth.
After savoring on the kebabs, we ordered chicken patiala for main course and again we were not at all disappointed. Wine was quite strong and we got a little tipsy till time we reached home. All-in-all it was good experience. Definitely a place to give a visit.
