I had purchased a Q5 20 days ago and I have faced problem with the headphone jack. I remove the headphone still the profile does not change to general. Due to this I cant use the phone without the headset. You remove the headset and phone should automatically go to general profile. However, in my phone this is not happening. Now I can't use it without a headset.
I made some research on internet and came to know that this is a common problem with most micromax mobiles. The jack is of a third grade quality and this is a hardware problem. I also found somewhere that headphone jack is not made by micromax and is made by yamaha. That is probably of the one reasons why this problem occurs.
And there is no permanent solution to this problem.
