I have bought a ERTIGA VDI from pratham motors bangalore on 23th August 2012. Till now have driven 6400 kms with 2 services complete. This is the history.
Now, coming to the problems
1> The left rear tyre has worn out 50% with some noise from the rear. The second service was done without rectifying and was told there is no issue. Now they have comeback saying the rear axle has to be replaced.
2> There is a rattling noise from the front near the tyre. This has been identified as power-steering issue and they are not revealing what part is being replaced.
3> there is air leak from the left OVRM but this has not been addressed.
I made a mistake of investing 10 lakhs on this. I should have bought a duster/innova would have been more happy. Maruthi-suzuki prove that they are not premium when it comes to car-building. I feel very SAD that I was one among the lot waited for 2 months for a car that rattles like a city bus.
