God! All I had to do was see the jeep in the showroom and I was in love. Friends advised that it was a vehicle for rough use, and was no good for long drives. Took it on a drive on the Bangalore - Poona Highway, we covered 250 kms in 3 hours, 30 minutes. The speedo, which indicates max of 140 kmph, went up to 135 on the Sira Bypass.
The weather was pleasant, but in the sun I guess you will need some form of cooling. There has not been a day when we hae not been stopped on the roads of Bangalore and had great comments passed on the jeep.
What else can we say, Bangalore loves the Mahindra Invader. But if you are in a hot city, ask Mahindra to install an AC or you will fry. Mileage could have been better, we got 11 km per litre of diesel, but then we were not driving less than 100 kmph, so if we drive in the economy mode, maybe we will get better mileage.
