Welcoming and mesmerising. Review on Kanyakumari

Situated at the south most tip of India Kanyakumari is a place with great scenic beauty and greenary. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places of South India. Kanyakumari is a place that attracts many foreigners and also Indians from all parts of the country.

Though it is ideal to visit Kanyakumari in the month of december, visitors can be found here all round the year! Also popular as a place of pilgrimage, kankyakumari is reputated for its famous Kumari Amman temple and Kanyakumari temple. Even the famous Vivekananda Rock is one of the reason it is marked as a pilgrimage. We visited the place in the month of December, even when there was scorching heat.

The line that we had to give for the boat jetty to the Vivekananda Rock was extremely long and exhausting. Their is not much of communication problem because almost everyone is litterate and can communicate in english or hindi. Food is typically South Indian though you can find few restaurants with variety of food.
