I purchased the 'Complete Protection Plan' along with my mobile phone from Flipkart, paying an extra 7% of the invoice value for what I thought would provide full coverage.
Unfortunately, due to a minor accident, my phone screen got a small crack, but everything else remained in perfect working condition. I promptly filed a claim with Jeevas, and they asked me to pay ₹1500 as a processing fee, which I paid right away.
After waiting 14 days, I finally received an email from Jeevas stating that the repair cost was more than 80% of the phone's value, and as per their policy, they couldn't repair it. This felt suspicious, so I called the service center myself, only to learn that the repair cost was actually just over 40%, and per their policy, if the repair cost exceeds 40%, they don’t repair but instead offer a refund of 40% of the phone’s value—without returning my phone.
The most frustrating part is that the repair cost was just ₹105 above the 40% threshold, meaning they refused to repair the phone over such a small amount! To make matters worse, the actual repair cost for the screen, as quoted by an authorized service center, was only 25% of the phone’s value.
I have contacted Jeevas and Flipkart multiple times, but have only received vague responses and no actual help. It’s clear that with the upcoming Big Billion Days sale, they are too busy selling fake promises to deal with existing customer issues. This so-called 'Complete Protection Plan' is nothing but a scam and a way to extract money without providing real value when needed.
Beware! Do not fall for this plan like I did—it’s a complete waste of money. Flipkart and Jeevas need to take responsibility for such poor service and misleading policies.
