I m sharing my personal experience of pune. Of 2004
I never worked for in bpo. But many friends of mine worked for MNC in BPO with good salary and 2 days off.
So I decided to join.
But I was not so good in voice and accent. Also there was influence of mother tongue HR rejected me for international process but according to my ability and skills HR asked to join Domestic process in same company IBM DAKSH Yeravada Pune.
And I agreed.
So they start with product knowledge. And the way of handling calls for 14 to 15 days.
After that mock calls
And finally we hit the floor after asistment.
My god it was a process of inbound airtel prepaid and post paid.
It was very hectic in my 9 hrs shift I need to handle at least 150 to 180 calls.
So pathetic. And some irate customers.
But some time I feel proud when received appreciation call.
It was very hectic I really don't like that because some times we can't take our breaks due to heavy call flow.
But after an year I selected for international process
And this process helped
Me a lot to work under high pressure.
