Golbari is a famous name in Kolkata since my childhood. Specially I heard a lot about its mutton kosha & was really excited to try it out some day. But surprisingly when I actually reached the place at Shyambazar, all my expectations went in vain. Firstly, the space is too little even to accomodate 20 people at a time, and in the evening around 7pm when I reached it was over crowded, we were two of us & had to wait for 20 mins in standing before getting a chair. Secondly, no seperate table for separate groups, u have to share ur table with unknowns. Thirdly, the cleanliness is at its worst, seriously the color & condition of the utensils they r using to cook & serve was horrible. Finally coming to taste & cost, taste wise its average, no need to rush from a distant place to avail something very special, cost is average too, neither very less like a street shop nor costly like a restruant.
