False Impression is the first novel written by Jeffrey Archer after his release from prison which is based on the world of Art. He is known for his twists in the story he tells. His books make intelligent reading, It has always made me pause and think in between the lines to find our what he is going to do next in the main plot of the story.
Its about how a young professional woman with her courage and determination, and of course good luck avenges the death of an old aristocrat lady. The author has intelligently woven together seven characters in this book to bring meaning to it. I do not want to reveal anymore about the story as the flavour will be lost for fans of Jeffrey Archer.
It was a disappointment when I finished his False Impression. It is not as impressive as his other books. The plot is tame, and anyone who is an avid reader of fiction can guess what is going to happen next. There is nothing different to look forward to in this novel. The twists and turns are not very gripping. But on the whole another work of fiction to read at one go, like I did.
