Crompton fans have caused me nothing but trouble- first with the BLDC fan, and then with the normal fan.
1. Crompton BLDC Fan (Energion Regmote 1200)
I bought this fan for its remote control convenience. Installation was supposed to happen in 48 hours- but no one showed up. When the technician finally arrived, he had no clue how to set up a BLDC fan and had to call someone over the phone for instructions. It worked... for a while. Then, the fan started turning off automatically in the middle of the night, ruining my sleep. Eventually, I returned the fan to the shop because it caused more problems than it solved
2. Crompton Normal Fan (New Aura2 Prime 1200 mm)
I purchased this fan after returning the BLDC fan, trusting the 5-year warranty. Within 4-5 months, it started making loud, disturbing noise. Complaints? Technician came, temporarily fixed it, and then the noise returned after a few days.
❌Customer Support: The Real Problem⚠
Crompton's customer support has been extremely disappointing. Every call is a gamble: sometimes they pick up, put you on mute indefinitely, and never call back. Promises of "technician will visit within 48 hours" rarely happen. This repeated negligence wastes my time and patience, with no feedback mechanism to hold them accountable.
Rating Context:
We have only option of rating minimum of 1 star, but honestly, this experience deserves zero stars, both for the fan and for customer service. If I could, I would have rated it far lower.
Conclusion:
I am now frustrated and sleep-deprived because of Crompton's repeated failure in both product quality and service. If you are considering Crompton fans, be aware: the warranty may exist on paper, but reliable service is not guaranteed. (Long warranties may sound attractive, but the true test is in customer feedback and ratings)
