I've been using this silly email facility for over 8 months now, and as far as i'm concerned its a total racket. They've never sent me a cheque and now they've instead of sending a cheque in 3 months made it 6 months.
The email program the site has is pretty crappy, and no where close to the polished email facilities offered by other free sites, I guess thats one of the reasons why they would have to pay people to use their site (which they don't btw!)
The advertisments are very odd... most of them are totally unrelated to the users.... and considering they have details on all their users its pretty stupid to see them display irrelavant advertisments to users, like why would anyone in India be interested in an advertisment related to a US company ?? I guess they are ripping off their advertisers as well.
The site is relatively fast... has absolutely no frills, offers some deals for its users which are generally stuff like credit card offers which are generally avaliable for anyone who walks into the bank off the raod itself... but who cares.
All in all a totally unrecommended site. Stick to yahoo or rediff.
