We had gone to the Catch Marine restaurant for a Christmas lunch buffet last year and was fairly impressed with the spread and taste. So a couple of weeks back we decided to re visit the place for a sneak peak at its A La Carte offerings. We ordered vegetable Minestrone soup and buffalo wings for starters...the soup was delectable, probably one of the most authentic reproduction of the Minestrone soup that I had in any Indian restaurant. The buffalo wings were crispy and tangy..simply YUM.
For main course, my husband selected a vegetarian platter of schezwan dumplings with grilled vegetables and potato wedges. The dish came with noodles on the side. My pick was the Prawn thai red curry with steamed rice and vegetable salad on the side. Both the dishes were superb, again never tasted better thai red curry anywhere before. We spent a good 2 hours enjoying the meal and the ambience. The staff was very courteous and attentive and the bill was well within budget. After hogging at some of the buffet restaurants that offer endless appetizers which are generally either too burnt or too spicy to eat, Catch Marine is a refreshing change.
A must visit for all those who like to dine at restaurants on 100 Ft Road, Indiranagar.
