It is certainly a difficult question to reply,? what do understand by the word TIME??
Since my student age until five years, back I was searching satisfying reply at least to satisfy a nonprofessional like me.
While waiting on Mumbai Airport a few years back, I was trying to invest my waiting hours in some fruitful and productive activity. I entered the bookshop and found this book in one of the shelves. The title was harmonizing with my need to know the TIME.
I read and read again. The simple concepts like ? the sun is eight light minutes away from us which is easy to calculate by the light speed.
The author avoided the difficult mathematical equations to make the book an easy grasp for every body that can read English.
He also mentions his assumptions clearly and says nicely if there are no proofs.
He also explains historically the various assumptions the scientists before him made.
I recommend this book as a must read for every body specially the student from class eight and thereafter.
