Bikes n Barrels is a pub located in T.Nagar, Chennai on the first floor of Residency Towers. It is usually open till 1 AM after midnight and does not have restriction of stag entry. I went to the pub after completion of a term exam along with 5 friends(boys and girls).
As soon as you enter, there are two options
1) You can take left and seat yourself at any available cube.
2) You can go up the stairs straight away and enjoy the music from first floor.
Ambience: It is themed, as the name suggests. Bikes are kept hanging from the ceiling. Dark on the ground floor and dim light on the first floor. Too crowded.
Liquors: They serve a range of liquor. The service however, is very slow. You literally have to go behind them and ask for your order.
Music: No Hindi track as it is in Chennai. Most of the track played are outdated ones. Special request is also not entertained by the DJ.
Cost: Way too expensive. They loot you by taxing under different categories. One can have a great time at any other pub at the same cost.
Overall, I would say it is a one time visit and I am certain that I am not going there any more.
