As we are often heard about the  tourist places in North Karnataka like Badami, Banashakari devi Temple, Pattadakallu , aihole etc. most of us know about Badami but other places like Pattadakallu , aihole are also best places to see and Pattadakallu is a village in Bagalkot  Distric, Badami taluka and there are 8 main temples to see here ,

1) Virupakshi temple - it is the largest temple out 8 temples and it is built by Vikramadhitya 2 of Badami Chalukhya dyansty in 8th Century and this temple has a  sculptures of various Hindu gods . 2 ) jain temple 3 ) Kashivishwanath temple 4 ) Galapanath temple 5 ) Sangameswar temple .all these temples might have built in 8th to 9th Century by Badami Chalukhyas and Rastrakutaru . Aihole is a nearest place to Pattadakallu.
