A highly entertaining and patriotic war thriller.In the cast are Owen Wilson Gene Hackman & David Keith. The aerial and ground combat special affects are pretty realistic. The two major actors - Gene Hackman and Owen Wilson – have done a great job . The action is fast paced non-stop and easy flowing. Behind Enemy Lines is a semi-fictional tale.
The plot centers on an aircraft carrier patrolling near the end of conflict in Bosnia. The ship is run by Americans but under the command of NATO. Chris Burnett sent on an aerial reconnaissance mission veers off course and takes pictures of civilians being killed. His plane is shot and his co-pilot and buddy murdered . Then on American marines try to save one of their own who has now become an object no one ones to own /save him as the peace process may get derailed except for his colleagues in the ship.
Some truly breathtaking digital action sequences that take us inside the bodies and machinery of this conflict.
