Update: Please try to understand that I have written what I have felt about the Avenger after seeing it on road.
Acc. to me the pulsar is the biggest milestone in bajajs history with discover following. All the bikes Bajaj brings in the market will always be compared to these ones!

AFAIK, avenger has the same engine that of pulsar 180 DTS-i, so the engine may not be a problem.
Bajaj, I think was a bit lazy on this account :)
I have heard the firing of the avenger. Its does not suit it really. Bad design (not the looks..) on this front too!
These are just my initial comments, I do not have any sort of statistics for it :)
But yes, surely it seems to be better than enticer and cheaper than eliminator! Personally I do not like cruiser bikes :)
