I am a huge lipstick fan and have been using Avon since many years. I was excited on the launch of Avon's Matte Lipstick too, but unfortunately this did not meet my expectations. Matte lipstick is supposed to give a matte payoff, isn't it? This one does not!'
Avon Matte comes in 10 nice shades, but all are dark ones. Reds, brows, maroons. The only chic color is Matte Lily which is a light pink color. The product claims to give rich velevty dramatic color which does not dries lips. You will feel your lips moisturized yes, but where is the matte velvety feel? I could still see the shine on lips like other regular lipstick. So what's matte in it? Just the name?
Better than this is Maybelline Matte, which is priced higher but delivers true matte texture. Avon Ultra Color Matee is not worth the investment.
