Assam Engineering College.
I got a seat here after clearing CEE exam which is held all over assam.
I studied Chemical Engineering here. The Chemical department is quite good. The professors here are mostly good and helpful.
I was allotted in Hostel-7 and the 4 years I spent here was awesome. Most of the people takes rent or pg but only a hosteler can understand the importance of staying in hostel.
FYI- AEC is under Assam Government and is under Gauhati University, consists of 6 B.E. branches.
The placement is very good here specially for Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
