I bought this product as it was in a big discount. I am from Windows Platform, it is not easy to move from Windows to Mac. But after using it for 6 months now I can say it is the best OS and the best laptop if you don't want gaming experience. With 8GB RAM and i5 processor it is pretty fast to meet your computing needs. Also the battery life is pretty good, as I have observer I can use it continuously for 5 hours after full recharge. Don't believe that the battery will last for 18 hours, it is not possible.
The gaming experience is not good though as it was heated as soon I started playing a moderate graphically advanced game.
