Antz became an instant success when it arrived in cinemas October 2 1998 receiving $ 16.8 million during that first weekend. Can you blame it? The movie was fantastic and utterly spectacular. The graphics have set a new standard in computer generation but they didn’t dominate the film to the point where it’s great plot was needless. The voices who portray them were perfectly selected as well. In general Antz is a wonderful romantic comedy with a wide variety of jokes and plots that entertain both children and adults.
