Anjaneri is a birth place of Lord Hanuman, located in Nasik close to Trambakeshwar.
I had been here in last month for trekking with my friends.
It is a very good place for trekking.
We started from the base village till the top of the mountain, it took us 3 and half hour to climb.
It is 4200 ft from ground level.
It s a medium difficult trek, basically because there are lot of steps to climb and climbing steps is tiresome in trekking.
But the steps here at some part are really long and steep.
You will see lot of monkeys throughout the way.
First you will see Ajani mata temple, then again after climbing further you will reach the top where you will see the Holy and auspicious Hanuman temple.
We were surprised to see a vada pav stall at the top, we were so tired we hogged on and relaxed.
It was an altogether different feeling, the weather was also superb, it wasn’t raining but it was cool.
A must visit place for trekkers.
