Airtel is no doubt a good network but the most cunning mobile operator in india.
I used to recharge my cell(airtel sim) @ 120 full talk time and 2-3 hours later I receive a msg quoting that my hellotune is now active and I have been charged 30rs for 28 days.
I called the customers care and foutunately they received and I was able to speak with the customer executive. I told him about the problem I was facing and he just shoved the blame on me saying that I have activated the service and refund is not possible. I disconnected the phone and tried again and still they dont accept their mistake. I then asked for how to opt for mobile number portability after which they asked me what problem I was facing and I told her everything and she agreed to refund my money back but my trust was already broken and I told her that I still want to do number portability and then she told me the details on how to do that.
2 hours later I received a call and that was from airtel office providing me with some offer to stay with the network. And the offer was that I will get free unlimited msg subscription for a year and call to any network @10paise/10min for 6 months. It was a pretty good offer so I accepted and still enjoying these benefits.
