Welcome aboard Air India flight....perhaps the only national airline in the world which does not accept (i mean honour) its national currency on board. Yes, indian rupess are not recognised if ou want to buy on an Air India flight abroad. And have failed to understand till today the logical reason for the same. if you do not respect your own currency then who else will ???
for those who have read my review on indian airlines, I think that IA has inherited some of the traits from AI. I have decided that I will definitely go to the temple and break a coconut on the day I see AI air hostess smile. it must be rare sight. if any of the readers has seen that then please write to me otherwise I will take is as an extinct charecteristic.
i must say that food quality has definitely improved. I traveled last month and the food was excellent. I was really impressed as well as surprised.
although my friends at AI show me all the charts relating to on-time departures, my flights are always late. it maybe the case that I am always unlucky for them..i have to refer this case to my astrologer.
Apart from boosting my patriotic feeling there is no other reason for me to fly AI.
But I see that they are trying their best to improve. Unfortunately their best is not good enough.
