To be very honest I'll never go with Y1 or Y1 lite. Just for a big screen I'll never spend extra 1k or 1.5k on this phone. Instead I'll go with Redmi 4 because of the Processor and camera performance.
Things I don’t like about redmi y1
-It has only one color notification LED light whereas older redmi phones have more than 6 colors ( my redmi 3s has 7 colors) . Helps me alot, it simply tells me whether I’ve a missed call notifcation, message notification or a whatsapp notification by showing different colors.
-Plastic body looks cheap as compared to other phones with metallic body in same price range.
-Battery is 3000 mah as compared other models such as redmi 4 with 4000 mah battery.
-Screen resolution is 1280x720p for 5.5?. Not so crispy
-16 mp camera is not at all satisfying.
-Front flash is not so good.
