I had a very bad experience with Videocon d2h services and customer care executive. They are rubbish and have no knowledge of their own product. They are just a waste of time and money.

Recently, I've activated the "Active Games" service by calling the no. 1800 315 1908 mentioned on their website. And I got a message that services have been activated and Rs. 53/-(including taxes) has been charged from my account at the same time BUT I'M UNABLE TO WATCH THE CHANNEL.

Then the endless effort starts with NO RESOLUTION at the end after spending a week's time.

Meanwhile, I know how did I manage my kid to NOT VIEWING/PLAYING HIS GAMES on "Active Games" channel.

Initially, I called up customer care(which is anyways the first step of help). I waited for customer care come online and believe me it took me 35mins. to connect to their customer care executive(Mr. Manthan). After connecting, he tried to disconnect the call by saying "Sir, speak in English" else you need to connect again to reach to Hindi customer care, whereas there was NO IVR, where I can select a language. Anyways, I can speak with them in 16 different languages so English was not my concern, but he tried to escape. (then why are you sitting on customer care desk, if not interested to help customers, then leave the job. Let give that space to some needy person).

Then he started holding the line few nos. of time to get the resolution. Then in the end, after wasting my 1hrs. time, he raised his hand and used "PAGAL"(in Hindi) word over the phone.

Then I said connect me to his senior/supervisor. I connected to Mr. Naresh(after holding more around 10mins.) He again started getting the issue which his junior already explained to him. Anyways, He again did the same thing(refreshing & restarting) from their end WITH NO POSITIVE OUTCOME.

At last, he registers the complaint and said that Engineer will visit at my place to check the issue and for that, I need to pay Rs. 200/- as visit charge, on which I disagree by saying that this is not the issue of the product as I'm able to watch all other channels. There must be some issue from their(Videocon) end. But he argued a lot like his executive(Mr. Manthan) and at last, I said ok, send your engineer. (I thought Engineer means: some, BE etc. degree holder) I was surprised when I saw/met their engineer then came to know that their engineers are different and not the degree holders.

Anyways, their Engineer had also spent around 2 hrs. time at my home, spoken to customer care again n again but didn't get the solution till the end. And finally, he came to know that the channel has been removed(which I know is not the truth) they said because they are unable to resolve the issue.

Now, I wrote them an email and requested them to refund my amount as they were unable to resolve the issue and just wasted my time with their fake commitments.

Let's see what another excuse they will provide.
