A group of first timers of Tc went on a much anticipated Bhutan tour by Shivshankar / mgr seller?bangalore. We should have anticipated massive issues due to tardy communications, too late to rectify etc as our trip organised 2 month prior. Bookings tickets were not complete or confirmed till 48 hrs prior to departure. List incomplete. Arbitrarily assigned 3 senior citizens to one room in Thimphu, punakha& Paro. Without consent assigned most vegetarians as non vegetarians a horror when going to predominantly non-veg country without any remorse. Worse arbitrarily assigned 3 pax to one triple sharing again without consent. Arguments over who among 3 should sleep on floor as no cot to be given in Tc went on till Thimphu had to stop as we did not have phones.  One of the triple was 73 years no way could sleep on the floor mattress or unfair to the two as all of us had paid the same rate. Why should some one suffer simply because they travel singly? Tc kept insisting without thought of customer relationship that we as a gp should settle who the Bakasur victim is. This odd number traveller likely in every single tour issue one would imagine be handled with some wisdom& handled sensitively by upgrading the lone traveller to a double room hardly costing anything at the rates these operators get instead of crating rift in the gp and destroying the pleasure& cause severe mental anguish  to every pax on that gp. In Thimphu and punakha we ended up paying 8400 extra. We ended up renting a separate room for the 73 year old lady, as it was impossible to adjust to sleeping in the narrow passage to the toilet or on the 3 ft settee offered. If he had told us before hand this arrangement we would have all cancelled the trip. That option of free cancellation under the shoddy arrangements was not given to us. He  wanted 15k extra. In fact the crooked local agent was trying to charge us extra person even though Tc himself had allotted a 3 full cot lovely bedroom at Paro by claiming the local


Agent had not asked for the triple occupancy. This kind of shylockian behaviour is shocking in a what we are misled to believe is a global cook. Cook intl refuses to recognise Tc India  as their brand! But the bad name due to such bad services bound damage Tc global image too. We are still waiting for refund for the 73 year lady’s room we were forced to rent to get some kind of enjoyment out of this trip. If the refund comes Tc India may redeem some of our relationship. If they don’t then it just shows their shortsighted business practice for few rupees vs a


Loyal band of satisfied paxs who would have recommended atleast for service in a tour that was ruined for 15 pax. Penny wise pound foolish is not a good. Usiness practise for a hospitality industry. We are seriously considering a class action suit for mental agony and torture of senior citizens instead of the pleasuretrip that it should have been. Even one of their glossy ads would be far more than the 8400 rs they forced us out of. No amount of belated compensation will get them back the potential customers who might read this review and decide against this torture?
