I - I- I c-c-canot write this r-r-r-eview. It is difficult. It is as painful as it was for Prince Albert, the Duke of York in 1925 to make his public speech. Words fail me simply because

.       How do you review a film after it has won the hearts of minds of almost everyone who has seen it?

b.      What can you say about a cast of actors( Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush and Helena Carter Bonham) who are so wonderfully restrained, subtle and yet so expressive

c.       Who can you say has not done a marvelous job of playing their roles whether it was the character actors, or the producers, or the director the script writer or even the light boys ….?.

d.      When the whole cast and crew have worked to perfection to bring this story to a theatre close to you?

e.      Why am I even attempting this?

Just go see the movie. One amazingly refreshing true story, of a stiff upper lip British Royal, who on the inside was as human as the rest of us; who had his fears and his passions and yet, braving mostly his own sense of pride took great pains to not only overcome his stutter, but also develop a friendship with the man who helped him do it.

You will cheer for him when he goes on to make the first of his many World War II speeches, charging up his nation and giving them hope

And when you do, you realize the movie has worked its spell
