I bought my Tata Indigo LX on 2005, year end. It was OK for couple of months, later it created a hell of problems for me, believe me, I am shattered.


I lost  power steering fluid on 3 occasions after I drove through speed breaker humps even at low speed.


The steering was shaking and became very hard, I had to replace steering fluid pump after 18000 km lost a very big money.


Car started brake down after 20000 kms, in busy highway. No body helped me out in pushing the car aside, I spent 2 hours in most dangerous situation, then the car started. This happened on 3 occasions and I have been told to repair the injector causing  a lost a Very big money.


Then the car started giving thick black smoke(22000kms). People started shouting at me. It took 4 days for them to find the fault. Injector was removed resend to Lucas company and re builded. Fuel system was cleaned and EGR repaired.


I have been told that there is no filter in exhaust pipe due to a reason they dont know who removed it. I have been asked to install a catalytic converter if I need to bring down the smoke.


I am having a tight office schedule and I cant run to TATA service station every day for these repairs.


Now since a week it is emitting thick black smoke, if I accelerate after gear change, no body would follow me, as they cant see the road ahead due to very heavy black smoke. People are shouting at me. My undergroung parking supervisor already banned my car entry. I leave the car on road side and walk in to office.


Tata is loosing it's credibility after people see my car. I am fed up, The EGR / Injector must have gone faulty. No buyer for my car after seeing this smoke.


My power window winder for driver side stopped working. I replaced it a month back. Yesterday the back side power window stopped working. I have to get it fixed.


The cover of AC control pannel shattered and weather cracked after 7000 kms itself


I am sick with this car, had I accepted a my friend, a TATA employee's advice not to buy an Indigo, I never would have faced these hell of problems.


I want to get rid of this car and try to recover my personal image.


I dont want to kill the mother nature. I am disgusted, daily being disgraced. I am fed up


I have repaired this car all the time in official service centres.


Very very poor support, it takes days as different components belongs to different companies, it's not all TATA.


As the name says I need to tell "TATA" (bye bye) to this car, what a meaningful name. They knew it.


Friends, I strongly recommend not to buy Indigo diesel car.


It is ok to let your enemy purchase it, not you.
