Sri Lanka

The moment you hit this country you will wonder why you didn't visit this place before. Everything is so reasonably priced and it offers the value-for-money kind of holiday you could only dream about. Nevertheless the sights and sounds of this place are second to none. Call it Ceylon, Teardrop of India, Resplendent Isle, Island of Dharma, Pearl of the Orient or by any other name, the only name that will ring a bell the moment you think Sri Lanka is enchanting. Sri Lanka is really an enchantress waiting to work its magic on you.

Its culture is vibrant and so are its people – warm and affectionate you can never get lost here. From tea plantations to palm lined beaches, it leads you to the best escape ever. Sri Lanka is magic surfaced all around.

Places like Anuradhapura, popular for its sacred Bo Tree, where Buddha achieved enlightenment, the Thuparama Dagoba, the oldest of the many temples in Anuradhapura and Kandy, which is surrounded by lakes and mountains are famously visited. Also notable amongst other tourist destinations are Galle that houses

museums and churches, Hikkaduwa, a modern day beach resort where activities such as snorkelling are most enjoyed, Nuwara Eliya with its mix of Tudor and Georgian architecture, adorned with gabled roofs, immaculate lawns and moss-covered gravestones, Adam's Peak – a famous pilgrim site and Yala West famous for its wild life.

Best time to visit Sri Lanka would be from December to March.
