Harassed by Spice jet counter lady staff

Dear Sir/Madam


I had booked my flight for New Delhi from Bangalore with PNR number X9814P with 2 passengers ticket. Our names being Dhanapal S and Arun Kumar AS, We had some banner roll and stationary carton box with our bags for check-in luggage and as we reached the counter at the Kempegowda Bangalore terminal the spice jet executives first saw the banner roll luggage and told us to go to the opposite counter at 10, 11, 12 and get the check-in done there and also collect the boarding passes so we went to counter 12 as it was not having queue and the lady at the counter got irritated and told to give way for the other priority check ├Čn and told to stand on queue in another counter, this was not informed to us at first when enquired and I too got angry naturally on her response and upon asking her why this was not informed to us she did not give any explanation and got further irritated and told us that we have to go there only on the long queue in another counter.


I told we already have so many materials and we cannot keep changing queue every time as we also need to board the flight and also as a right of being a passenger need to be respected, But she behaved were rudely and told I can wait there only and also started ignoring myself and my co-passenger further issuing boarding pass to others who came later to us. Because of such insults faced by me and my colleague with me we also went to the first counter where we went first and explained this problem then again they sent us to the same place but now we stood in the other queue and were asked to wait for collecting the boarding passes and also this lady was good enough to understand and also accepted the check-in luggage which were oversized. But in between, we also told the other lady that she has simply created this issue to avoid us and also asked her to analyze what trouble she put us in during the early morning hours around 3:30 am. But she was just getting flared up and also took a snap of the boarding passes from the other lady which was about to get issued to us and told she can't allow us for boarding as we should not teach her what she has to do.


In this whole helpless situation of our plight which was further aggravated by her, the quarrel of words began and she took the advantage of being a woman and also started giving all others the boarding pass and asked us to apologize to her for no fault of us. We were simply standing there seeing all these series of incidents happening and I forced her to issue our boarding passes instead she called the Customer care and duty manager and told we are creating problems and they too supported her as she was a lady and started telling us that we are not supposed to create scenes with women I told we just have been put to such a dilemma because of no coordination between the spice jet staff and putting us in such miserable situation.


Later they told them they will call the police If we create scenes instead of asking the lady to issue the boarding passes due to their lack of coordination which is the problem created by them. The lady also was not understanding and just told she can allow one passenger ie my colleague and by that time she also told to get the checked-in luggage back and told will allow the check-in luggage for 15 kgs as per one passenger and remaining need to be taken back and stopped me from travelling and also gave information of Indigo flight telling I won't be allowed to travel in any spice jet flights in future .


Further the situation was worsened when she told due to the delay in arguments the luggage with some extra money paid by us for my co-passenger check-in would be sent in the 9:30 flight which will only land at 12:30 in the afternoon in New Delhi Terminal 1 this was again a lack of coordination by the lady and putting us in further trauma.


Finally, I reconciled to the fact that I have to board another flight as I have to reach the destination and also behaved in a gentleman manner asking apology for my abnormal behavior due to the situation I was put in.


The dear customer care I just want to ask one thing is this the way you guide the customer who buys a ticket with airlines in advance and harass them on questioning what is right. I am deeply grieved by this entire incident which put me into a lot of stress and also having paid the ticket charges for the indigo flight to travel to New Delhi.


I lost my money and also self-respect and never would take any chance of booking with Spice jet and associates in the future as I am also a professionally qualified person and decent human being who would never want to come across such unnecessary and unpleasant situations.
