I had started a bank account in south indian bank before 3 years.I was going perfectly happy with their services when I had a students sib account.

At that time I were not doing much and more transactions and there is no minimum balance to be maintained

The bad thing they hade done is that my students bank account was automatically converted to normal savings account and I was penalized for maintaining low balance without any prior information from any executives from my local branch.

I contacted main customer care and they responded very slowly for my query.

I was extremely dissappointed with their services.

Moreover, they charged me for using their online banking application.

Apart from that , another poor service is their ATM service. ATM for SIB is not available everywhere like other banks.

Overall , I had a bad experience with the SIB customer care service and phone banking charges
