My experience of Savaari cabs in coronavirus pandemic is as follows.
Car:
The car Details sent in the Mail did not match with the car that arrived. It's not about the Model of the car but the Number plate that did not match with the car details sent on Mail. It was an early morning drive and customer care was not available and We were in urgency so we did not bother much on the Number Plate.
Driver:
It looked like he was on his own personal Trip stopping the Car whenever he wanted. He stopped the car two times while on the Journey to Bangalore for his personal purpose. And both of the times for himself. He went to a restaurant around 7 am while we sat in the car waiting for him and then again he went to a restaurant at around 11 am while we sat waiting in the car from him. This same thing was repeated when returning from Bangalore. Even Local Bus drivers don't do this kind of behavior.
End of the Journey we paid him the amount as per the Saavari invoice. And paid him for extra KM amount as well. But this guy started demanding an additional 200 for the 10RS/10KM from his house to the pickup location and 10Rs/10Km from pick up to his home.
After negotiating we paid him 100 RS Extra and he started getting rude. This is the most substandard behavior we have ever seen from professional people.
Corona Situation:
I don't understand the purpose of the driver wearing a mask if he is going to pull it down sneeze and pull it up. Pull it down Cough and Pull it up.
Especially after WHO confirming the virus is airborne. This guy goes to every other restaurant on the journey comes back and sneezes and coughs in the car without covering his mouth. We can understand that 7 hours journey wearing a mask might be suffocating but a person should have a common sense to cover his mouth with it while sneezing and coughing.
Saavari Customer Care: Customer support is really brilliant. They refunded the extra 100 rs that we did pay immediately after we registered a complaint. Also, they were always available with very little waiting time. I would say go for Savaari because no matter what company you choose your fate is in the hands of the local drivers
