My name is Surender Kumar, I have the worst experience with Star Health. My 1st year with Star Helath insurance is completing in this month against my policy no. P/161121/01/2018/016523. I got injury on my right shoulder on 01.03.19 and after XRay and MRI report doctors advised me for the surgery, otherwise my hand will be in permanent disability to lift up. I submitted all docs for pre approval through my hospital and on next day Star denied me for the cashless treatment and advise me for the reimbursement, as per them injury was very old. I submitted again re reporting done for MRI and finding of my doctor, which was clearly showing that this was not the old injury, but again they denied for cashless treatment. I have request many time with star insurance that, I have not much amount of Rs 3.50 Lacs, please take ur time for further inspection and investigation, but pls approve my cashless treatment. Also request them that delay in my surgery can cause a permanent disability to lift my right hand. Also their Grievances deptt has also denied my request for cashless treatment. As on today 20.03.19 Star is not accepting my request for cashless treatment. I am really depressed because of my physical as well as mental conditions. I have not such amount for my surgery and because of this treatment is delaying day by day. Above all Star Insurance is looking their rules and regulations rather than looking into customer physical conditions. While purchasing the policy they show us the bigh thing like cashless treatment, 2 hrs approval, customer satisfaction, but ground reality come when you face the actual requirement to claim for your treatment. So, please be aware while purchasing policy from Start Health Insurance
