Star health is not a good company for health insurance. never buy insurance from star health.My policy is of 5 lac and premium is approx 14k, in this amount you can buy policy from any other good company. once you take policy from star health they will provide you a list of hospitals and benefits but when go for treatment in the registered hospital you will find that this hospital is not in panel and when you contact to any executive, you will get a simple answer that its a company police so before you go in a costly hospital, check before admission otherwise you will have to pay from your pocket and claim settlement will take approx 1 and 1/2 month and will not get full claim which you file. only few small hospitals are covered in the city. Very worst policy.
