Saturday night I did fight with my husband to watch this movie. After CC2C let my expectations down I was eagerly waiting to watch this movie no matter what. Lets analyze what I had watched for a 150 bucks at a late night show.

Casting: Felt as if I am about to watch another Harry porter series. Comes Maheshji be a bit more innovative na. Why copy the flash format of Harry Porter?

Beginning: Was decent. Not that great not that bad.

Introduction: Kangana was introduced like someone coming out of her depressions of life and embrassing a whole new world altogether and live life king size. Directors give me and poor Kangana a break. In all her movies she is someone who is on drugs and cheated by life, all depressed waiting to be recovered or saved.

Adhyan was decently bought into the movie first with his voice and a shadowed physique followed by an awesome track Soniyo.

Emraan seriously looks like a lost soul when he keeps staring at Kangana from outside a garment shop like he is about to pounce on her like a rabid dog ready to attack any minute. Anyways I got to know that painters may be look like crazy chaps.

Dialogues: Nothing dumdaar as its a horror movie and sound effects and facial expressions play a vital role in creating an eerie aura around the audience. The dialogues were just to communicate the theme of the storyline. So I would say.Fair enough.

Plot: All the bollywood directors need to know that sequels become a hit or a superhit when there is a connectivity with the first series. Not that you make something out of the blue moon and serve the same to the audience. You think we are idiots, Mr. Bhatt?

The plot of Raaz was far ahead in well execution and better potrayal than Raaz. the mystery continues. The title itself raises the question what is the continuity in this after watching the movie. There indeed is no connectivity at all with Raaz 1.

Graphics: People who have watched Final Destination 1, 2 and 3 would agree with me that Bollywood needs to scale up to that level of graphics to make it look real and not something artificial. There is a scene where Kangana and Emraan are being attacked by a herd of buffalos in the mid of the forest. Believe me it looks so plastic and unreal that even the darkness of the forest is not being able to cover it up. Come on Maheshji even the Tamil movie "Anian" did a better job on the buffalo front.

Songs: This is one saving factor of the movie. Awesome tracks. Be it Mahi or O Jaana, lovely music and romantic wordings. Do buy the CD without any regret. This would be money well spent.

Climax: Entry of Jackie Shroff as the Bhoot sir wasnt expected. The storyline is very simple and once the hero and heroine reach their destination "Kalindi" everything is crystal clear. There is nothing romanchak to crave about at the end of the movie.

My Suggestion: You can watch the movie just to cut through your boring weekends and enjoy some popcorn. It wasnt a nightmare and sure its objective of scaring the Indian crowd has failed and especially after the effect Raaz had left a few years back. Even the Bhootni of Raaz had done an amazing job compared to Bhoot aka the continued Ghost. Would credit Bipasha doing a much better job than Kangana on the acting front too.

There is no secret to the release of the movie and so I felt there should be no Secret.that should continue for my friends on MS. Rather you guys can now make an informed decision.

Regards

Ipsita
