Today i'm going to review the Philips BT 5200/ 15 Trimmer.

I bought this from Amazon at a price of 3350, which is quite High. Earlier it was available for 3000, and even 2500 a few months but now its price is not coming down anymore.

This is a high end Trimmer from philips. It has a premium build with a Precision of 0.4 Mm which is the best in its class. It trims close to a shave. However one has to be careful as it has double sharpened blades which can cut your skin if not used properly. To stay safe I will suggest you to use it with the comb provided.

I actually wanted to buy the Philips QT4011 trimmer which is a great trimmer for its price, 1700. It has a precision of 0.5 mm all the features I need but I then came across this BT 5200. The unique advantage of this trimmer is that it is waterproof. However only the head is waterproof and according to philips you can put it under running water to clean it which is awesome.

Another good thing about this trimmer is that it can be used wired or in Battery mode. Plus it takes only 1 hour to charge and then you can can use it for 1h. Hence Charging Time= Run Time, in cheap trimmers like QT4001 and QT4005 you get an accuracy if 1mm and you cant use them On Wired mode. Moreover they will take 8 hours to charge but hardly run for 30-40 minutes.

So, all in all this is a great Trimmer. A little bit expensive but its worth it. for people on budget, I will recommend the QT 4011 which has about the same features as this but costs only Half. Not waterproof but you probably will never need to put it in water. Or if you are willing to spend a little more, then get the philips Series 7000 Vacuum Trimmer, which is a newer product but still costs less than the BT 5200.
