I started a new business and installed the Paytm app, thinking that it would be of great help in my business. But, I was wrong.


I uploaded my documents for verification and it failed because of reasons that they have mentioned nowhere. So, a person has to guess what should he put in the documents so that it doesn’t get rejected.


So, my documents got rejected and I couldn’t increase my limit. I kept on receiving money as I was happy doing my business. But then one day my limit got exceeded and they charged me money for the exceeded amount.


I called several times and my complaint was lodged four times. Every time my complaint was closed without resolving it, mostly stating that my number was not reachable. I received every other call from national and international numbers but only Paytm agents couldn’t reach me.


Every time a new agent was asking me to explain my concern, wasting my time, and affecting my business. After the call, they told me within 1-2 days my concern would be resolved. Hardly did I know that after 1-2 days they would close my concern stating that my number was not reachable.


They practice this cheating so that they can extort that money which exceeds your limit.


I talked to several agents and several senior agents and all of them told me different things every time. They would explain to me what to explain to the person who calls me next. Again, most of the time they couldn’t connect with me on call. If they were able to get through with the call, I would explain to them what I was told to explain. Then they told me in 1-2 days my concern would be resolved. Then my concern was closed without resolution.


Every time they would say that my concern is being handled on high priority.


After going through with this torture for a month, when I called them today, I asked the person from a senior escalation department if they are capable of resolving my concern or not. He again asked me the concern which took him 10 minutes to understand and asked me to share screenshots which I have shared with them 10 times on different emails they send me whenever they create a new ticket on high priority.


As I was really really pissed off with them, I told him that I am not going to share any screenshots, I would not explain to anyone who calls me. I asked him if he could tell the related department internally and get this resolved, he clearly said that it can’t be resolved.


I request everyone reading this post to boycott Paytm and Paytm for business apps. It is funded by a Chinese company and all this money that is hard-earned by us goes to china.


I have uninstalled both apps from my phone, I request people reading this post to boycott Paytm an agent of China.
